An album compilation of the tracks I produced from October 1-31, 2019, as part of #AtmosphericHorrorMonth on Twitter.
I have an interest in horror sound design and the atmospheric beauty of the Silent Hill series' soundtracks, and in lieu of being hired for a horror project, I decided to take this October to finish some half-ideas and exercise creepiness daily. Or as much as I could. I ended up with 15 tracks of very different style, and I'm proud of every one of them. Thanks for grabbing this, and check the YouTube playlist to see the images I made or was inspired by for each one.
Released October 31, 2019
Tracks 10, 12 and 15 were inspired by the art of Trevor Henderson.
Thanks to Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka for a career of inspiring music that has let me see horror in a different way and made it feel like a place I could belong. Thanks also to Fatal Frame, Siren and the work of David Lynch and Dean Hurley for helping get me into this mindset.
